‘IUR’ é um convite à contemplação sonora. Uma peça de drone apresentada em 3 atos de 15 minutos, que se desenvolvem no tempo da natureza - natureza esta que se faz presente no momento mesmo da gravação, embrenhando fio adentro nos ambientes microfonados na casinha numa área rural de montanhas no sul de Minas Gerais onde Julian R. e Jose Barrickelo improvisaram juntos por alguns dias, captando sem um rumo inicialmente definido o que ia brotando.

Um percurso de imersão/expansão por uma paisagem meditativa construída com ar, que percorre o harmônico e a flauta de Barrickelo, e a sutil voz de Juliana, florescendo em momentos de tensão melancólica. O sintético, constantemente presente, menos confronta esta paisagem do que nos aterrissa nela. Um encontro para se ouvir de fones, e experienciar todas as frequências finamente sintonizadas naquele espaço-tempo.

'IUR' is an invitation to sound contemplation. A drone piece presented in 3 acts of 15 minutes, which develops in the time of nature - a nature that makes itself present at the very moment of the recording, infiltrating through the wires at the miked little house in a mountain rural area in southern Minas Gerais (Brazil) where Juliana R. and Jose Barrickelo improvised together for a few days, capturing without a initially defined direction what was sprouting.

A journey of immersion/expansion through a meditative landscape built with air, which wanders through the harmonic and the flute of Barrickelo, and the subtle voice of Juliana, blooming in moments of melancholic tension. The synthetics, constantly present, less confronts this environment than lands us on it. A meeting to be heard in headphones, and experience all the finely tuned frequencies in that space-time.
