SOLO is the title and concise descriptor of Tim Dahl’s debut album independent of a group. It solely features Dahl on electric bass and vocals and was recorded live in the studio with zero overdubs. Although one can imagine this process and the tools used within it as potentially limiting, the musical spectrum covered on this album is as broad and varied as one might hear from a large ensemble, with the polyphony and wide timbral and pitch ranges associated with them.
